Kitchen - corner drawers

Has anyone had drawers like these installed in their kitchen corner? Any of the Irish kitchen websites i've looked at so far offer the pull out or lazy susan type solutions for corner units. I never see these (the first type on this webpage):

Is there a reason for that? i know you'd lose a bit of stage space either side of the drawers, but they still seem like a good alternative to the other corner solutions.

Looks like the Blum Space Corner. Some Irish kitchen guys do it, if they're using Blum drawers they should be able to supply the corner drawers. They are less popular due to the loss of space but I've seen clever use of that 'lost' space using pop up sockets or small worktop bins.

We have a 'Lemans' style swing out self in 2 or our corners, very effective use of space with easy access. AS with all these solutions there is some loss of space, but this shelf system comes out through a single door opening.
