Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fair play to you Beaker, that was a very intricate game, very well run. I didn't get the chance to get into it as much I was would've liked but I'm glad I only shot Necro with the dud (not as glad about giving Molly the peek though).

Yeah, stopped events from happening. I remember one game many moons ago, me, drunk about 3am started using my bullets.

Think that was Eastenders, I vaguely recall that flushed out a wolf I think :D

    Was that the eastenders game?

That was great crack, the Mitchell brothers bandying around a fun drink and Peggy have to intervene!

Lol went back and had a read of the shenanigans that night. Was reading and thinking "Jez that Jake is some dcik. Oh wait that's me" lmao. Ahh good craic.

Should yeah. There is definitely some merit in having and not having an open thread at night.

    Bravo beakerjoe, a stellar performance.:)

I enjoyed it. Unfortunately I have been suffering from sleep deprivation for a few days and will be taking a step back from Werewolf for a considerable time.

    Congratulations to the victors.

Not at all! :) the villagers won.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,293 ✭✭✭Reberetta

Look I couldn't understand who won. I thought the villagers won. I was sleep-deprived. It was too complicated. I'm really, really sorry.

Youre grand Reb. You were perfectly fine

Look, I'm sorry. I know I was terrible. I thought you guys had it under control. I don't know how this stuff works.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,293 ✭✭✭Reberetta

I was so mentally stressed by this game that I even had nightmares. I've ruined it for everyone. I couldn't tell what the truth was and what wasn't. I'm gutted. I always respected you guys and I never meant any harm in anything.

Dont worry about messing up, all part of the fun and all part of the game. Everyone gets most of the game wrong.

Youre over thinking it. Wolves Job is to stay alive and cause confusion. Or create a Molly meltdown. It can be near impossible sometimes to figure out fact from fiction.

Don't stress yourself Reb, you did nothing wrong at all, no right or wrong way to play a game.

    Hi Reberetta,

Please know that you do not have to deal with this on your own.

We encourage people experiencing difficulties to talk to someone they trust and, if appropriate, to go to their GP. If you need help urgently and outside of GP hours, please go to your nearest A&E department.

Here at Boards.ie our moderators are not trained to support people experiencing difficulties. There are other organisations better positioned to provide specialised support. These organisations are listed below. We hope that you will follow these up so that you can get the help and support you need.

    If you need immediate help:
    Aware’s Support Line is open 7 days per week, 10am-10pm on 1800 804 848

The Samaritan’s phone line is open 24/7 on 116 123

Pieta offer one-to-one, face-to-face support. Click 'Contact us' to find the phone number and opening hours of your nearest branch on their site or email mary@pieta.ie for advice on getting an appointment.

Text about it - text HELLO to 50808 to speak to a Crisis Volunteer in a safe space via text. Service available 24/7.

    If you need non-urgent help:
Aware have a support email service at supportmail@aware.ie

There are some other useful services that you can use also listed here.

Hi Reberetta, I've edited your post. However, please don't beat yourself up. And please continue to join us for games. If you want a clean slate, then, as Neowise says, close your accounts and start afresh - no judgement.

This is a great little corner of Boards and you've been a key contributor these past months. Honestly.

Thanks quickbeam for editing. I was going to do it myself. I shouldn't be saying this things. I have been a mess for the past few days. I don't know what's going on.

Reb, it's a game. You did nothing wrong. You play your own game, and everyone else plays theirs. That's all you can do in these games. I don't think anyone thought you did anything at all wrong in this game. Or any other game for that matter.
Look after yourself, stop beating yourself up. Looking forward to your SURLAW :)

For me you've always been an integral and important part of the Forum Games community, and would love to see you stick around under your current profile (or indeed a new one if that's what makes you feel more comfortable).

You should give yourself more credit too, you're one of the big names around these parts, you run great games and always great to see your name among participants in games hosted by others.

Hope you don't exit FG. I don't know you very well but you've been welcoming to a newcomer like me.
I can get really stressed out by these games too (why I have only played when I'm not working). Despite the paranoia, I think we still managed a few fun gifs in our backroom, and if and when you feel like getting involved again I'll be happy to see you on my team (I still swear on Thor's fat ass I'm not Loki :D).

Life gets on top of all of us sometimes, I've been there myself. Reach out when you need and there will always be someone (t)here (possibly because we are partly addicted to the internet so the FG community never stops :))

On a serious note Ari, you should come to the FG beers. Werewolf in person, in a pub, it's a whole different game!!

Beers definitely -I'll even bring a can of Carnation ;)
For WW depends if there is... etiquette? Because the only was I get through poker is by laughing my head off all the time, because I can't bluff, so I go into full crazy high giddy mode so people don't know if I'm giggling because I've a good or bad hand :pac: I'd need to do the same in in person WW or I'd be a dead giveaway :D

    Etiquette is very straight forward

    1. Drink beer/wine/cocktails/fruit juice
    2. Laugh
    3. Chat
    4. Play werewolf
    5. Shoot Baggly
    6. More Werewolf
    7. Stop off at playground enroute to next pub
    8. Pet dog in pub
    9. Drink more.
    10. Repeat
    11.?????
    42. Hangover.

Baggly wasnt playing the MCU game so its possible someone shot him for reals. :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 35,024 ✭✭✭✭Baggly

It should really be 'attempt to shoot baggly'

Sorry to be pedantic, but Vale rarely hits me.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,293 ✭✭✭Reberetta

I'm still not sure what happened to me over the last few days. I hope I haven't ruined werewolf for everyone or the game for anyone and if I have somehow, I could try to make it up to someone if they'd make it clear what I could do.

I'll be stepping away from Werewolf because I'm not cut out for it. I'll be taking a break from forum games as it's for the best.
