Can we ask people in the no chat thread to read the recent reviews before posting?

If you scroll down the first ten reviews on this one they're either 1 or 2 stars, some claiming the product is counterfeit
    https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=117272572&postcount=675

They're not the "first ten reviews", they're the top ten reviews, and the top ten reviews are always polarising. Those reviews include those who bought the product from other sellers too.

However, I believe others on this thread have previously commented saying that they were disappointed by the quality of the Baylis & Harding products that they bought direct from Amazon.

I bought this stuff for the guest bathroom, mainly because it's a nice bottle and the B&H products I used before were reasonable quality, but it has the after-scent of the kind of soap you'd get in a pub toilet. Still, only 5.8 bottles to go before I switch it sometime around 2024...

Product was listed today and seller only has 4 reviews. Avoid like the plague.

Thanks for the heads up, I edited the post in other thread, I'll be more vigilant next time

that just went whistling right over my head. its not nice posting and nobody gets your humour, makes you feel like the email editor for linkedin.

Your missing out, The LockPickingLawyer, a very popular youtuber who is a Lawyer and who has the hobby of picking locks on youtube and showing how poor most security devices sold on amazon are.

Sounds boring, yet somehow his videos are always super interesting:

Picked 4 of them up earlier on. Back up to nearly £7 now, which is still a good price for that pack (as long as we get what we think we are getting :D)

And I cancelled my Baylis and Harding order just there , thanks for the heads up.

Ahh I missed the mini compressor. Back up to 40 pounds now :(

Saw a compressor in Aldi which looked very similar to this. Might be worth a look, €25.

The American Crew conditioner while not included in the pack is savage stuff.
It’s minty and really refreshing to wake you up towards the end of a bath or shower.

I think it’s about the only time I’ve bothered with conditioner just to get that minty kick from it!

nothing like a snooze in the bath or shower alright... :P

I don't know what the deal is with DeWalt but there are a few DeWalt tools that won't ship to Ireland. I've had a circular saw on my watch list for ages and whenever Amazon have it in stock they won't send it here.

That hedge trimmer is a good deal screwfix.ie have it with battery and charger at €281.95 https://www.screwfix.ie/p/dewalt-dcm563p1-gb-55cm-18v-5ah-li-ion-xr-cordless-hedge-trimmer/938ht

    back up to £13.22 now
I got a box @ £2.10 earlier on, maybe a Ryanair style thing, price hikes up as they sell out
some of the other ones are all gone up in price also or even sold out
I got a box of the 8mm*120 for £4.40 delivered today, not used any yet, but they seem decent.

Tried to buy some of their drill bits earlier and same crap. Won’t deliver to Ireland even as a prime.

Starting to happen with an awful lot of stuff recently. They should really keep delivering especially with prime until this Irish hub is open.
