Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hope this is a quick forum and may answer some questions asked about our new green keeper who BTW has done an excellent job on course but closed the course Fri, Sat, and Sunday of w/e of 21 May to 23 May due to supposed waterlogging. Our pro was mistified as to why as he deemed the course very playable and we've heard that he did this a lot at his previous club, Can as many of you as possible post if your course was open or not in the Dublin and surrounding (nearby) counties. Thanks in advance

Seapoint (links) was opened and in excellent condition

Moate was open and would only close at the weekend if the course was visibly unplayable i.e. snow, extreme frost or pools of water on the greens.

K club Smurfit course open, Newlands open.

I participated on both courses, saying I played both would be an injustice to golf.

Do you want to name the course?

Corrstown was open all weekend and in good condition.

I’ve seen in the pass where non members clubs are quicker to close when weather is marginal if they don’t have any revenue that day, ie green fees.

And I’ve also seen the opposite with one club that refuses to close.
