Yeah it's always the case in the Eurovision - any attempts at comedy end up with tumbleweed blowing around. Its tragic really

Niamh Kavanagh also appears on The Commitments soundtrack

The Commitments follows the Eurovision at 11.50pm on RTE1 tonight, or whenever this is over

However, it did bugger up the monopoly we had on winning Eurovision, so that evens it out.
Plenty of winners in western Europe recently enough though.
We just keep sending crap....one final in eight

Ease off on the Pinot Grigio. It's starting to affect your judgement.
That went out the window last tuesday

Are Ukraine tipped to do well? One of the worst in my opinion...

    5th favourite at the moment.

Agreed it was terrible. The German, Finnish,French, Russian, Isreali and Italian entrance were not much better either. I hope none of them win.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

Yeah. On balance, I think it was a mistake.

I have to say, the only ones I really hated were Switzerland, Norway and I forget the third.

Sweden have a lot of support on social media, I am getting worried they will win again, that would be criminal

Italy’s dropping in the odds FWIW.

If it came down to being between Italy and France, I would give it to France, she put in an exceptional performance.

The only song that has actually stuck in my head is Cyprus

Great show tonight, after listening few times to recaps the votes here gone to
    Cyprus
    Malta
    Greece
    Norway

That Swiss tune is proper in fairness. My 12 points go to it. And my 10 to Germany, just for that "whaaat?" bit.

Ukraine is bonkers, so some points for them. Italy was great too, and the Finns.

El Diablo and Mata Hari hands down the catchiest tunes of the night.

    Malta the best singer.
