They could get Astra or J&J yeah if nothing else avaliable (such as greystones today), all depends on how the HSE put the NIAC advise into operation

I'm going to say no and no cos the HSE have been abject on Cohort 7 and seem to want them to just disappear under the carpet.

Yep think you are right there.
A lot of young people still at high risk out there and it's all just a numbers race now it seems.

Preference but can get any that are approved for age group.

Know of group 4s who've got AZ via GP.

But they can insist on an RNA and be rescheduled
That happened to 1 person I know at Greystones today who is cohort 7 and in their 50s
They were very helpful

It's not insisting, it's following the NIAC advice, everyone going in was asked if they were still happy to go ahead. In the greystones situation they clearly didn't get an expected delivery for example so there's a bit of wiggle room.

Someone in their 50s cohort 7 such as the person you know can get any of the 4 vaccines

Still doesn't change that someone in their 50s in cohort 7 which was user as the example can get any of the vaccines which is the original point.

The GP has decided which suits you best based on your medical needs.

Can register tomorrow if you want. Should accept it but won't get you an appointment any quicker than if you registered on Sunday with your age group.

The day by day is to stagger demand

You can register right now. Just choose the 50-69 year old selection box and work through it and you will get confirmation at the end that you are registered for an appointment,/date pending etc.
It will accept any DoB older than 1976, anything DoB younger than. 1976 it won't let you register
