Yazoo - Only You
I had that Yazoo song in my Walrus and it came last in the category.
And as it goes through to the next round, here's what I said about it. :pac:The third line of every verse I hear "It's serious!". Pre-chorus shares its melody with something else. I hear a tinge of Emilia's Big Big World too. This song makes me think of other songs that I can't remember or have I heard this one before and I just forgot?
Sounds like the background to an outdated video game with dodgy graphics. It's all very flimsy, like a synth factory has gone haywire. Is there a big Kraftwerk influence here? I feel like I could have written it myself just by pressing a few buttons on a machine. Robotic, unreal, vapid and a talent-free zone that's not to my taste.
