Ford Focus 04 engine and micro stall

Hi Guys,

The engine warning light has recently come on on a Ford Focus 2004. Manual doesn't say much, just get it checked out.

It's accompanied with a very short micro stall every now and again when driving. It's a bit like when you change gear (except you're not changing gear) or when you take your foot briefly off the accelerator before putting it on again (except your foot is steady on the accelerator)

Any ideas what may be up ? And how urgent it is likely to be regarding getting checkout out.

Sounds like a misfire, get it checked immediately
