Recently bought a new bike, and there's a fair bit of heel rub on chainset.
Just wondering, instead of buying a new chsinset, is there anyway of repairing the heel rub, such as buying a decal set to cover it

You'd hardly need to replace it due to heel rub it's only cosmetic. You could put some helicopter tape or similar over it to stop it happening but may be too late now.

Yep - probably too late but no harm to put some on now to stop it getting any worse.

Something like this may suit https://www.alltricks.fr/F-41496-protection-velo/P-164203-bikeshield_protection_de_pedalier_crank

If you were really pushed, metal spray paint, take it off the bike, tape it up and spray the rest. If its a bike you ride regularly though, just leave it, heel rub is going to happen and its only a minor cosmetic thing, no concern on integrity.

Give it a rattle can black, then once dried cover in helitape.
