    Mahrez Bale or Son argh it's tearing me apart.

    If I get Son I think I'm basically settling in for protection mode and trying to keep the money league close... If you were 11 points behind what would you do? Went from well ahead to 11 behind from being too conservative I think. Leaning towards Bale and crossing my fingers then that son does nothing!

    So I had 8 players and one free transfer, used that on Castagne to Stones.
    Thought about it for a while and decided to take a hit to being in Foden for Greenwood.
    I'm happy to go with ten.

    Is Son worth an extra -4 in order to make 11 players this week?

    Would probably sway towards Son and punt elsewhere next week.

    Ings and Pereira of the West Brom variety on my radar as two free transfers. Would give me 11 players. Would seem a bit silly to -4 a bench player in as much as I would like the security blanket of it.

    From quick glances across teams in my league and at the top of the main game players are typically short 3-5 players before transfers. Most are missing 5 like me. I'd say most will just have their 11 with no subs post transfers.

    Can't believe I brought Kabak in for Dallas last week for a hit. Anyway, moving on. I currently have 10 players and Kabak(inj) this week so could field 11 without a hit but...

    For a -4 I wanted to do
    • Kabak -> TAA
    • Bruno -> Bale
    but short 0.2 m

    Now looking at the following a -8 for
    • Kabak -> TAA
    • Nacho -> Benteke
    • Bruno -> Son or Bale
    Have exact money for Son with this and then have a selection headache of needing to bench 2 players.

    Benteke has scored 3 in 5 games and playing Villa (former club) this week.

    Any advice? Main rival has TAA and it's hurting me alot the last couple of weeks.

    Have you got Phillips? While I don't own TAA and freaked out last night a bit, having Phillips takes the edge off slightly.

    No Liverpool defence coverage now. It's a consideration too maybe. TAA looks hot though and was raiding forward alot. He's looking like grabbing a goal and not just assisting on his current form.

    Currently looking at Greenwood and Nacho to Jota and Adams for a -4 (with 0.6 left in the bank) thoughts?

    I could pivot to Castagne out for an Everton defender, but I'm leaning towards two attacking changes this week as I'm likely to end up with 10 playing thanks to Veltman's injury.

    Fofana, Vardy and Nacho to TAA, Antonio and DCL for -4 brings me to 11 players. One of those is Davis so will likely do Shaw to Dallas or Digne for -8

    If I had none I would go TAA. Its just too much shuffling with 3 pool already meaning I'd have to remove Phillips. So I just going to suck this one up and hope for the best

    Looking at getting Danny Ings - played 75 mins on Wednesday in first game back - reckon he starts all 3 games in the next week or have his minutes managed?

    Anyone know if Watkins is available this GW?

    Always the chance of subbing in one of the games. I'd imagine he wants to play though. Could be he finds himself subbed off earlyish next two games.

    Yes

    Is Lingard/Zaha + Nacho -> Foden & Antonio worth a -4?

    I'm chasing, and have enough players. Rivals will struggle to get 11.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,080 ✭✭✭onrail

    Yes

    Weird, I don't see him on the FF Scout predicted lineup. Thought he would have been nailed on if fit.

    Bruno, Rüdiger and Iheanacho -> Alexander-Arnold, Ings and a punt on Saïd Benahma.

    -8 because I’d rather have the hope that having eleven players brings rather than accepting having nine or ten.

    GL all for the GW!

    Digne or Dallas for the next 3 weeks?

    Digne obviously has 2 tremendous home fixtures (although home doesn't always mean great for Everton) but he is almost a must bench on the last day away to City, and with rotation possible on the last day I might need that defender to play.

    Dallas has OOP potential and is more likely to score a goal/get a double digit haul, but Burnley and Southampton away don't exactly scream out clean sheets either, based on those teams most recent performances.

    I assume there is no outside shout for Cancelo in the equation? Starts just can't be trusted in the runin right?

    Mendy/Foster owners-are you sticking with this combination for the rest of the season or taking a hit to get a replacement gk in?

    Taking the hit, but because budget is not a concern at this stage of the season, I'm transferring out Forster so that I will have the option of Mendy later if I want him more.

    Still mentally halfway between Ederson and Pickford.

    Same. Went with Ederson.

    Am I absolutely crazy to considering bringing in Aguero for the Newcastle game (a glorious swan song) and captaining him in the process?

    I’m 40 points off the guy in my main money league, our teams are very similiar atm, and Aguero’s crazy historical record against Newcastle could give me a sweat if it came off?

    I’m just inside the top 200k, very little else to play for at this point with leagues either wrapped up or too far back. Someone talk some sense in to me quickly.

    Facing the same dilemma myself, leaning towards Dallas atm as feel like Leeds could finish strongly and as you said Digne will likely be benched on the final day against City

    Tempted by Antonio for a hit. Gives me 12 and who to leave of out of Pereira, Siggy, JWP or Watkins. Whichever I do will score heavily as per usual.

    I was all set to sell Nacho and Maybe even Bruno for Antonio and Son or Bale for minus 4. Now im starting to think should I bank and keep two transfers for next week and go with a possible ten players this week knowing a lot of the players around me won't have 11.

    I'm also afraid of selling Bruno with them up against Fulham next week. I already have Greenwood though.

    I think he’s less than 50% likely to start tonight personally

    Yeah I’m a bit tighter on funds so considering either Mendy to Pickford or to McCarthy.

    Pickford with decent fixtures and the likely England spot

    McCarthy to guarantee a Southampton keeper (with Forster)

    There is a Twitter rumour circulating that Carson starts now tonight.

    Completely unverified mind, but might just be enough to sway me on a 50/50 call.

    hmm, after watching TAA performance last night, bit the bullet and brought him in, rival clawed back a 30 point lead to 10 so can't be running risks like that - ended up taking a -4 of Kabak and Greenwood out for TAA and Burke in - somewhat rushed job as looked like TAA was going up last night. In hindsight maybe i should have done Salah/Kabak to Jota/TAA to match the teams up but meh.

    He has 8 for this week, and 1 FT, so likely he'll take a -4 or -8. I'm tempted now to bring in Antonia - said it all week that he's against a weakened Brighton team and they have Europe to play for,

    GW hasn't even started, and off to a bad start - cheapy Burke has now shown up with a "fracture in his foot" love how that just updated in last few minutes as well.

    Nacho out for Antonia a cert now so.
