    Lol.. I think the French have improved a bit with their electrics.. I even feel safe flying in an Airbus.:)


    Even though I did have a Peugeot 406 not too long ago that used to indicate regularly for no reason..

    Agree, the more the merrier.
    Whether the battery will be big enough for what looks a reasonable size car. Seems to be using the same as Pug 208 and Corsa. (46kWh usable ?)

    This looks to be the best of the larger eCMP platform cars purely because it should have a larger range due to the better aerodynamics of the sloping hatchback.
    Also Citroen is generous with the specification. It charges to 80% at the same 30 minutes as the rest of the eCMP cars.
    It could be a good alternative to an ID3 and should be very comfortable with mushy seats and hydralic cushions in suspension.
    It also has real knobs and buttons, not touch sensitive areas on dash and steering wheels.

    I've seen a few reviews for it and all seem fairly similar - decent, but not exciting especially to drive; still an alternative to look at.

    I think it suffers a bit from the same issues that all the PSA emp chassis have. They have decided that their electric cars will be available as an alternative engine to petrol/diesel in their standard car. Production wise this probably makes sense, and as a way of introducing more buyers to EVs it night work too. Want a 'normal' looking car that just happens to be an EV well here's you Corsa/208/Mokka/C4 whatever identical to an ICE but with an electric engine, fwd and not too powerful.

    The downside is it prevents you from designing a car that fully utilises all the benefits an EV engine can have - flat floor, smaller engine bay with more interior space, RWD easy to do, acceleration. Instead you get a fairly standard car, that just happens to be an EV. And the e C4 is a prime example of this, decent but nearly as exciting as say an id3 or i3

    You can get a loaded e-C4 for less than the price of a lower spec 45kw ID3 in Germany and I'd expect they would be more amenable to discount negotiation. The specifications are near enough the same except for a few less features on the ID3.
    Some may take a look at the interior of the ID3 and be turned off by it and of all the Stellantis product this looks like the nearest competitor in terms of range, speed, size and charging time but a more conventional product which might appeal to the Customers who aren't early adopters.
    It is being overlooked in the market.

    As exciting as an id3 lol because that is about as exciting as butter.
    I would have the e C4 anyday over the id3. So much better to look at and I would say it's a lot more comfortable on potholed Irish roads too.

    French cars are just not my thing and it will probably loose it's value like any French car.

    Anyone know the power of this thing ? being French I presume it will be slow, no more than about 130 Hp I'd say ?

    Thing that attracts me the most to the id.3 is the travel assist, if it's as good as some of the videos I've seen it will really change my commute for the better.

    + the id.3 tour 5 has decent charge rates too if you can find a 150 Kw charger. + rear wheel drive, makes a big difference with electric but the e-c4 probably won't have the power to matter much.

    Still, it's good to see another ev on the road and the colour in the pic above is cool, better than the dreary grey I see too much of these days.

    You are comparing high end id3 rather than a lower end 45kwh id3. Apples and Oranges.

    That e-c4 charging speed is pretty decent.

    The id.3 figures are tests by Bjorn on Ionity

    E-C4 30 mins 32 Kwh

    id.3 58 Kwh 30 mins 38 Kwh

    id.3 77 Kwh 49.77 Kwh

    If I compare this to my old 2015 leaf, 30 mins would have got 17 Kwh on a good day, 40 odd mins if it was cold. :D

    Any eC4 owners out there? I’m considering one at present but trying to determine real world range people are getting as well as any long term faults or quibbles

    Have to say it’s a nice looking car overall - maybe it’s marmite to some but I find a lot of the current second hand EVs in this price range quite bland looking (i3 excepted of course)

    Check Bjorn Nyland's youtube videos about the e-C4. I think he liked it and it had quite a good range for a 4X kWh usable car.

    I will thanks - pricing is a bit all over the place for them at present for second hand versions - think I’ll wait until the market settles down a bit - they’re a querky car - a bit different but definitely not mainstream so can’t see them holding value well - well I hope they don’t until I decide to buy😀

    Saying that I’ll probably revert back to ID3 simply for the range but again I think there’s more value to be squeezed there too on early 2024 prices
