Very sad to see videos of Summerhill College on fire last night. Does anyone know if they managed to save much of it?

Was only one section of the building that was destroyed

Just appears to be a section of a roof. However, this means that a significant section in one block is no longer water-tight.

Many a class in that building...sad to see it had been left to go into such disrepair. Only a matter of time before a fire occured.

Maybe now something will be done to reinvest in the building overall.
