Painting concrete shed floor

Ladies and Gents,
Looking for some advice...
Have recently renovated my shed, which now measures 8M x 5M.
It has a concrete floor and I want to make it dust free.
Was told to concrete seal the floor and then paint.
So my question is:
Do I concrete seal and then paint?
Or forget about the concrete seal and just simply paint instead?

I have a similar size shed, floor was very dusty so I gave it 2 coats of concrete sealer and that did a great job. I didnt paint the floor in mine.

A few coats of water and PVA will do the trick

Dont skip the sealer / primer. It will take more floor paint without it and likely come straight off again.

That’s what I was thinking!

How much sealer paint do you reckon I’d need for the dimensions specified?

How long does the sealer last on its own?
In other words, will I have to top it up regularly, or are the two coats good enough to seal it permanently?

Depends on the use.
If it’s heavy usage work then a 2 pack expoy floor paint is what you need.
If it’s low to medium use then get a good quality exterior masonry paint, for the 1st coat add in eb owatrol, it’s a mix in bonding primer, 1 litre of eb to two litres of paint. 2nd coat doesn’t require any eb. And then a good quality floor varnish on top for added protection

Obviously the floor needs to be cleaned to a good standard 1st prior to painting

Funnily enough did mine over the weekend, Used Clorax to clean the floor, twice, lots of hoovering, lashed down a layer of PVA and used Crown Epoxy floor paint. Did 2 coats and it took a day to dry in between .

I need to do mine this summer.
In my last house I made a serious error.
Guy in work gave me a half can of industrial floor paint, it must have been out of date because it took 2 weeks to cure and it absolutely stank.
The garage was connected to the house and the whole house was stinking for weeks.

I've recently sealed the concrete floor in the shed and then used floor paint. Just bought both in B&Q. I wouldn't use jut a normal masonry paint. The floor paint is much tougher.

It'll be the main job to reduce dust.
