Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Trying to purchase a car from Northern Ireland

I was wondering about any extra costs of obtaining a car from Northern Ireland.
Right now I am looking at a car from Northern Ireland (I live in the Republic).
Other than Motor Tax, Car Insurance etc...are there any other costs that apply that are specifically for bringing a car from NI to ROI. Does an insurance provider in the south take this into account when costing insurance?

@ OP What kind of car are you looking for and how much are you planning to spend on it?
I was looking at some last week that were from the North and seemed great value. Will see can I find the link.

    Here you go,
    https://ukcarimports.ie/used-cars/ireland/chevrolet/cruze/

I have never come across this site before, are these cars all in England pending import and you choose which you want?

Not a thing wrong with them. A good stylish car that is good to drive too and well equipped. It is basicslly an Astra underneath.
