Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Starter automatic car?

    Can anyone recommend a good starter car that's auto?

    The other half is struggling with manual.
    I don't think she will pass her test. We're out practicing every night she also has an instructor but she just can't get a good grip on it.

    I told her to do the test in an automatic as its alot easier plus most cars are going to be auto eventually even il be buying an auto.

    Anyhow is there a good starter car for it, her budget is 2k that's excluding the insurance.
    So it's not alot to choose from

    Toyota Yaris or Honda Jazz should come in around that price. Best to avoid imports as they are easier to steal due to lack of immobiliser.

    Small Automatic are always in high demand given thier scarcity. While almost every hybrid is automatic, as is every electric car, it's still very useful to be qualified to drive a manual. It's well worth while sticking at the manual for a few more lessons.

    If not though, the most common choice in that category would probably be the Micra.

    Try persist with the manual as it makes it so much handier if you pass your test in a manual and aren't limited to just autos. Try get her to do some actual lessons not with yourself, despite your best intentions people generally learn better with someone they don't know.

    I was thinking I will never drive car in my life
    I fail 3 tests for B license
    Today my driving license filled fully I drive everything
    Automatic not the option
