My son is refurbishing a quay fertiliser spreader.

It was sand blasted, under coated and sprayed painted. Not the best time of year to be spraying in a cool shed. Everything went great until he applied the lacquer two days ago, it’s is still sticky in most places. Will it harden/dry out over the next few days? Any advice would be very much appreciated

Lacquer is very susceptible to damp weather. The best thing would be to *heat* the dampness out of the shed . The main problem is dampness may be trapped and you will have a blotchy finish! If this is the case, sand off the varnish and re-do, in a better temp. Hope this help's. ( this is from practical experience many, many, moon's ago.) Regard's KB.
