Lash Chance U is a great series on Netflix. American football and One basketball season documentary of college athletes. But it mainly focusses on the personal stories of coaches/ players and staff. Insightful

I second this. Its thoroughly engrossing

The Method. Russian with subtitles. Psycho detective hunting killers and psychos! I thought it was excellent.

This thread is a year old this week. Thankfully the "current madness" is turning into "current hope"

I started a re-watch this week of Manhunt:Unabomber on Netflix

It's superb and it stands up to another viewing

Has anyone seen Season 2 of it - Deadly Games? I wasn't even aware it had a sequel till recently

    My highlights were

    The Queens Gambit
    Unorthodox
    Succession (rewatching)

Until they air the final episode there's no point in watching it.

I'll second that. Probably one of my favourite TV shows ever.

    Does this have subtitles?

It does, more disappointingly they aren't showing all 20 episodes.. it's on the iPlayer if you have a VPN.

Why wouldn't the show all the episodes?

I'm out anyway, don't have the concentration levels to be constantly reading.

I don't know tbh it was a 3 episode teaser, there's a new one starting next Saturday. I don't even notice I'm reading the subs.

They are shown 3 more episodes of The Killing after the new show Blinded, starting at 22:30 next saturday.

They did the same with Bron/Broen when they repeated it a few weeks ago.

I'm hooked on Killing Eve at the moment. Very entertaining. Don't know why it took me so long to give it a go.

Brilliant, kind of fizzled out in the last season for me but well worth watching.

The West Wing. About 3 episodes a week

I'm upto early Season 4 and may stop at the end of it. It becomes a very different show after Sorkin leaves and Season 5 is a bit shíte to say the least. Those first 4 seasons are still incredible TV even after all these years though. It's on the All 4 app

Season 5 does take a dip for sure as they figure it out, but really picks up again and whilst not as soon as s1-4 - seasons 6 and 7 are still excellent.

Back to life on Netflix is a good show , it’s a dark comedy about a 36yo woman dealing with settling into the community after 18 years in jail , litterally every character is nuts

A really old one if you can get it is Rescue Me, it's a post 9/11 fire engine based drama, Denis Leary is the main character, I loved it. Still have a sneaky re-look every now and again, great viewing.

Just finished watching all 4 seasons of The Killing (Seattle based one, think theres a Danish one if I'm not mistaken?), after someone reccomended it on here, thank you whoever did! Fantastic show, cold, dark and eerie with some fantastic acting and characters. Definitely a 9/10 imo

Season 1 of the original ‘The Killing’ (danish version) is one of the best tv series of all time. If I could criticise 1 thing about it I would say it’s maybe too long at 20 episodes and maybe too much politics in it. Although every single episode ends on a cliffhanger.
