Be very surprised if Virgin don't get it - hopefully HD and get BBC Four in HD.

It will be great news if it comes back to the Irish Epg.

BBC Four will no doubt end up suffering from budget withdrawal symptoms.

Virgin Media Sport took its EPG slot when BBC Three closed back in 2016 (116)

Can't see VM re-launching it on that number but you never know

Vm sport won’t be around much longer with champions league gone

The only program I looked at on BBC Three, when it was on Virgin Media, was Little Britain. I would miss BBC Four much more for its nostalgic music shows, if that was ever removed.

BBC Three will still show new their iPlayer exclusive programmes a week later after they are shown online.

BBC Four will never be removed from licence payers in the UK. It will continue broadcasting as an archive channel.

It's all about channel bandwidth too.

SD channels are about 1.5Mbps HD about 8Mbps. SD on an HD channel would look better because it has more bits to give.

All regions of BBC One will be available in HD by then so that frees up 115 in the UK with BBC One HD being on 101. BBC Three will re-launch on its original EPG slot of 115. And on a different number here in Ireland which is TBC

Sky are moving Sky Nature to 124 next month when Fox closes

I'm sure discussed by smarter people than me but we live in interesting times as BBC broadcast in 4k,as RTE pull out of Dab.
