Was a small bit underwhelmed with that episode. Maybe I was too excited for it! Usually they are a bit better for throwing in a few obscure bits of news that you’d have forgotten about, some good news. It was a bit too much recession/bailout etc

One thing that could have been mentioned was Guns N Roses shambles in the Three Arena, I remember following this thread on the night and it was pure gold.

Jesus Christ. Learned a lesson tonight.

Don't watch RITY with your foreign wife who was not in Ireland in 2010.

Took almost an hour to watch the 30 min programme. Pausing it every 30 seconds to explain something.

    Good episode all the same.

Yer man who fell on the ice is gonna be on TV over and over and over now as it is repeated ad infinitum. He probably thought that was finally behind him.

Forgot about the greens press conference where they were pulling out of govt and Paul Gogarty brought his child. They were always mad:

I think that's the first time Eminem's been played on the show!

Pity they didn't play Villagers or JVMM.

Seeing Constantin Gurdgiev brought back memories, a Luke O'Neill/ Sam Mcconkey of that time.

Ah remember every year up to 2/3 years, we'd have threads full of people giving out about the pubs closing on Good Friday.

    *sighs wistfully*

I reckon the 2019 episode will end with the rumours that were floating about in December about a mysterious virus in China.

Remember Mario Rosenstock doing comical impressions of Constantin as a Blofeld cat-lover, and a very crumpled Vincent Browne? :D

I really enjoyed the music :o

It was better than I expected. The 00s were full of Ronan Keating from what I remember at least stuff happened in the 10s as the 00s was a vacant decade.

I wonder what the first so shocking there is no song moment will be in the 10s ?

Good question. It's usually a horrific murder or terrorist attack. Only ones that are jumping out at me initially would be the Paris attacks of 2015. Unfortunately for the two years after that there'll be plenty of moments to choose from too.

yea was fully sure they would show joe sheridan goal against louth in leinster final, the only other time they showed GAA outside of all irelands was 1991 the Meath v Dublin matches. i suppose they live longer in meory than meath/louth leinster final. Could be a bit of 91 games are something to be celebrated whereas 2010 needs to forgotten about for Meath , Louth and the GAA head bucks

I hope it shows Mario Rosenstock's impression of Vincent Browne struggling through the ways of contacting the show! I fear not, because it was the competition TV3. :(
