Very weird I tried it again and no import fees for me just 18.67.

Do you have an amazon account and if so is it open? Maybe something to do with that.

I think you need to have Amazon Prime - delivery cost of £6 is taking it over VAT threshold so import duties are applied. Then, the £6 delivery is discounted after that.

Sign up for a free prime trial and you should get the £18.67 total

That's a fantastic price. Seen the Bugatti has a fairly big discount as well.

I’m certain it’s been (along with the Sian) that price for ages. You’d want to be mad pay full price for that series, they’re nearly always heavily discounted.

Did anyone build both the Bugatti and the Sian? Any preference?

I'm very tempted as they don't take up shelf space if you wall-mount them (running out of shelf space for lego). These brackets look really nice for doing that -> https://brickbracket.co/

Built the Sian and loved it, took way longer than any of my other builds - making even a small mistake can take a long time to correct. Have the Bugatti being delivered today, but it will be a while before I can compare the two, as I have the land rover defender and the space shuttle Discovery in the queue ahead of it. General consensus I saw online seemed to be that the Sian is marginally the better of the two.

So, it sounds like the answer is to buy both!

If funds allow! If I compare the Sian to say the pirates of barricuda bay, the Lamborghini probably took me about 4 times longer, even though the piece count isn't massively dissimilar. Time consuming but very enjoyable!

Some sets reduced not huge amounts as it's some of the bigger sets and is 5.50 delivery to Ireland.

I've done both, if I was to pick one I'd go with the Bugatti, the key for the rear spoiler and no colour problems makes it a better buy imo.

Sian's a lovely set though, if money isn't a problem they look really good today.

I'm halfway through the Bugatti and loving it. I had the same problem, but went with the Bugatti for the looks more than anything.

10280 Flower Bouquet at about 38e (30% off). I pulled the trigger ha

Smyth's have €5 off when you spend €25 and €10 off when you spend €50 on Lego Sets https://www.smythstoys.com/ie/en-ie/lego-shop

There's just 1 discount per transaction though, so (for example) the Sian goes from €282.99 to €272.99 (not €232.99)
