Irish Death Records from 1921 to 2006

Irish deaths are available online up to 1920, and information can be found on RIP.ie for deaths after 2007.
Is anybody aware of any online source that I could check for deaths in the missing years between 1921 and 2006?

    Thanks.

Newspaper archives - INA, BNA/familysearch, Irish Times archive, Proquest (some significant duplicated coverage between those)

Not every death is reported in a newspaper, just as not every death is on rip.ie

There are indexes - no full dates, no further details but name / district / quarter - on Familysearch and Ancestry until 1958

Thank you. I was not aware of Proquest and did not know Ancestry went up to 1958. It would be nice if Genealogy.ie extended their date range.

Findmypast also has the indexes to 1958.

Suggest you read the sticky for beginners.

Irishgenealogy.ie is governed by data protection so cannot release information after specific dates.

Reading this thread I had to double check the dates of the posts.

It's births that are available online up to 1920.

Irish civil death records are currently available up to and including 1970 on the Irish Genealogy website.

Cemetery records are good for Dublin area eg Glasnevin and Deansgrange/Shanganagh. Mount Jerome have good records but not online. There are voter registration records for Dublin in Pearse St library which also has copies of old telephone directories and street directories which might help fine tune when someone might have died.

Calendars of Wills and Administrations give dates of death - up to 1922, you can search here http://www.willcalendars.nationalarchives.ie/search/cwa/home.jsp

Post 1922 use the Simple Search facility in the National Archives at
