Door handles for grey doors?

Hi folks,
We are getting our interior pine doors painted grey. Currently have gold coloured basta locks

Would the gold go with the grey or should we replace with silver or black handles?

I personally would not put gold door handles on a grey door.

Can't see any of the pics above other than the gold ones.

I'd suggest matt black/charcoal door handles on a grey painted door (am presuming they aren't being painted with gloss grey paint), but that's just me.

No way gold.

Personally, I dont like the shiny chrome, but brushed chrome might be a bit too similar to the door colour.

How about an anthracite grey, it will show a contrast, but not as harsh as black.

Depends on your style of decor too.

BTW this is a really good company in the USA which produces some nice interior door hardware. I used them years ago in my house in Aus.

I think brushed chrome or steel would look nice.

Had a snoop on screwfix.

Some of the the black nickel handles could look nice too or even this combo of satin and black nickel.
