Had a quick browse. Didn't see a recent thread.

Currently having my mind blown by a delicious cider. Windvane farmhouse draft. Really delicious drop on a summer evening after a bit of gardening. Got me thinking.. What are the best ciders in Ireland today?

Longueville house cider and stonewell would be up there.

Not an 'Irish' Cider....but is widely available here. (I get it in Dunnes Stores)

    Thatchers Haze - cloudy.

500ml for €2.50 can't argue with that price.

By far the nicest Cider I have ever had

Longueville is nice alright. Think they have a high % alcohol release as well.

I like Stonehouse but it's 6% so might not be 4 everyone.

McIvors you will get in any decent offie.

Aspall is available in quite a few bars. For example Porterhouse have it as its main cider. It has a good few varieties

I have never had anything decent from either of them. Usually go the clone of Bulmers route from my experience

Aldi and Lidl will stock a random French cider from time to time. They're normally decent bang for your buck.

That's true if you are into Breton's. Their Bretons are usually good bang for your buck

+100% for Aspall for a dry cider.

    Very hard to get, AFAIK.

I get it during any visit to NI, often three 500ml for GBP 5.00-5.50, great value.

I thought Aspall was stocked in O'Briens?

It's a few years since I bought cider but it used to be. I do see it's listed as unavailable in Supervalu. Shame if it's no longer to be got.

I know there are more local craft options, but Aspall is an amazing cider in fairness, I love the dryness.
