    I played the Artful Dodger in a production in The Civic Theatre back in the day, in my early teens.

    If you willingly went to anything that had involvement from Ronan Keating then you got the bad experience that you deserved. :p

    I actually haven't seen the film, it's on my packed shelf of unwatched DVD's though.

    I went to see it in the Olympia, which is known for really small seats, with little knee room etc. There was a couple to my right who were getting frisky throughout, his hands were wandering a bit too far... he started rubbing my leg instead of hers :eek: He was mortified :P

    I enjoyed Fiddler more but Oliver is good craic too. Was lucky to be involved in both of them in school, usually it's just TY/Fourth Years but they needed younger looking kids for Oliver when I was in second year so I got into the chorus, and a solo singing part as the 'Knife Grinder'

    Phantom of the Opera was the very first professional production of a musical I saw, and it was on Broadway. I was blown away, and a lifetime love of musical theatre began. It deserves to sheep (although The Producers is hilarious!).
