I see FUT birthday Gervinho and his 97 pace available, brings back memories of fifa 13 i think it was, could be 14, anyway the one where everybody had Gervinho and Ibarbo to, they were faster then anybody else in the game

I could definitely do with a RW and he would fit the bill perfectly especially with my HL Tavernier at RB.

Finished Mandana last night - was easier than anticipated from when I first started it and they also appeared to have tightened the requirements with the objectives requiring goalies inc Subs which seemed to stop people bringing on outfield players trying to help themselves get goals with the outfield players assisting.

In the end actually enjoyed it, there was a bit more build up play and no one able to spam skill moves as keepers just can’t do them and the shooting was hilarious.

Was also interesting working out what goalies were best playing outfield. Nuer had a decent turn of pace, De Gea was good on penalties, Pope was a decent centre back with his height but I think my star goalie outfield was a TOTW Jordi Masip

Yeah at this stage that's pure dirt, when I saw the card I thought maybe a single 85. Maybe an 83 & 84. But for that price I can't imagine anyone doing him, he's not even worth pumping duplicate untradeable fodder into as his rating is so low.

The thing about the IF investments is they really are long term. They will pay out, and big, but it does take time, often a few weeks.

For example Hennessey is in packs this week so loads of people are getting him and just want to sell him.

Next week he'll be out of packs and at that point as you say if an SBC comes out that bumps the price of them up, the next cheapest PL IF out of packs is currently 30k-ish.

I would be very surprised if Hennessey didn't hit that just under 28k-29k mark but it might take a couple of weeks until he's out of packs and there's limited supply.

Also what do people think of IF Trossard? Currently around 25k and if you compare him to IF Almiron who plays the same position and is harder to link who is going for 47.5k at the moment! :eek:

My IFs haven't seen to increased in price at all! Was in a recent TOTW so too much supply maybe, as someone said there'll probably be another party bag SBC since this one expires this weekend

Got a 24 hour chat ban thanks to some asshole playing one league and scoring first, I’m going for the outside box goals and decided after about 20 games of gg to hell with it and just play and try and get them throughout a full game. He pauses, messaged me “leave” and then proceeds to call me toxic. Of course I had to reply F off which once he reported me got me a ban.
Thank Christ I’m back to pc in 2 weeks and gone from consoles. Sick of dealing with toxic knobs on them.

Got an untradeable duplicate 90 Ter Stegen from a player pick. I said I'd chance a few of them, but will be spamming them later when team 2 is released because it looks fairly stacked.

Not sure what SBC I should commit to....... one of the meta players that I can't fit into my team but look too good to leave behind (Reus, Vidal, Bender), or one of the meta players who I could change my team around for (PIM Nedved, PIM Zambrotta) or go with Ozil (like him IRL, but the low defensive workrate means I can only play him as CAM but would good to have for Sentimental FC). Could just forget about all of them until that Renato Sanches comes out and keep holding packs too.

Less than an hour to do the Mandanda objective, and actually really enjoyable! Also packed birthday Sane in one of the 75+ player packs, so even better! Shame it's untradable and doesn't fit in my main team though.

At least that makes it much clearer now on Messi, don’t have to worry about a second potm dropping after I complete it (if I do)

Which brings me to my next question,
For a non skiller, would Messi be wasted on me??
Would mbappe potm be a better choice?

I used mbappe a lot last year though, his IF, his toty, and the fut birthday so that has me leaning towards going with someone new.

They should have had it so you can't start a match unless every card is a GK in your full squad.

Thought the objective was a great laugh, apart from the one lad who was playing with 10 of his players within 20 yards of his own goal and one of the fastest keepers in the game upfront, and then paused it three times after he scores for me to quit. There's always one!

These people seem too thick to realise their pausing of the game is actually resulting in fewer people quitting against them..
