We’ll most likely get the upgrade sbc’s at 6, if we get 81+ player pick golds will go to 800/850.

I fired a load into club today at 400/450 each, not to sell, just to do upgrades myself.

I think the upgrade sbc’s usually come at 6 on Sunday.

The easiest trading method of all-time has to be to stock your club with common golds at 400-450 and then sell for 850-900 a few hours after the player pick SBC's drop.

Foolproof.

I worry those 81+ player picks get less effective as time goes on, sadly. I'm wondering if there's any rare gold I'd pack I'd actually use.

Also, filthy of them to drop them the day before Icon Swaps causes everyone to need lower rated cards for MM....

(First two; 82 Neves, 87 Sancho. Guess I could build some fodder up towards an Icon SBC or POTM Mbappe...)

Usually I’d empty my club for those picks but FUT birthday seems a bit underwhelming this year, so I’ll do a handful to clear off my trade pile and that’ll be it

Done two of the 81-87 player picks so far and 84 Saul and 84 De Vrij the results.

Only 1 so far of the 81+ - 82 Kepa.

Need to hit some 85’s and 86 to help me finish Kluivert

I did 10 81 picks and got ter Stegen in one the rest were not worth much

I was woeful this weekend finishing on 14-10. Worst weekend yet I think. Was pretty normal up to when I was 10-2 but hit a mad streak of losses. Stopped even logging the results. Time for a break for a few days!

Same here haha. You always spot the players that aint that good, they always fire abuse. Anyone that's used to winning dont care.

Just about made it to 17 in the last game. Most of my losses were against 4222 formation, was there any YouTubers making videos with that formation??

Had to swap Cavani to Pogba half way through, he just wasn’t doing anything for me. Schmeichel got finished too, he’s far better than IF Pope.

That wasnt a weekend league i enjoyed but scraped 14 wins. I put vvd in defence and he is still able deal with all the over powered cards and spam moves. He saved my weekend league.

Finish 17-5 ran out of time to do the rest of the games but I honestly wasn't interested in continuing it.

One of my most frustrating Weekend Leagues to date. I have honestly reached the point where I just don't know what's happening anymore. Standard bread and butter strikers that I have been playing against since the start of the game are able to walk into my defenders and my defenders refused to put a foot in. At the same time unless I played my ultra attacking system my players wouldn't move off the ball which is probably part of the reason I felt under pressure so much.

TOTY VVD also had a nightmare this weekend, he seemed to keep wandering to pick up someone in the midfield disrupting the back line.

Futbirthday Sambia from squad battle rewards this morning, which is the only time I’ve ever packed anything decent from them. Made doing the final icon swap token worth it tho. He actually looks interesting enough.

Currently have about 1.5m to spend due to some luck with the trading over the past few days and saving plenty in recent weeks.

Would love to hear your thoughts about potential players to purchase at that sort of price range.

The main two positions I need to improve on are RM/RW and CB and it must be an icon.

I'm looking at:

- Mid Maldini
- Prime Rio
- Moments Cannavaro
- Prime Desailly

- Mid Garrincha
- Baby or Mid Best

I'm currently running FS Fofana and Baby Vidic at CB so I think the CB would give me the most improvement overall but I know most will say not to spend that much on a CB.

I'm struggling because each of those CB's has a lot going for them - Maldini has the work rates and passing, Rio the unique body type and Cannavaro everything but the height.

Anyone used any of the above or found Cannavaro's height to be too problematic? Maldini is the most expensive so that probably answers my own question about the best option!

looks like some of the pros are running full backs at CB so is there an other option there? height doesnt seem to be a massive issue as most players dont cross high balls.

Was just looking back at the team for the first FUT Birthday and it's crazy how far they've pulled away from promo representation outside the Top 5 Leagues, 10 of the 23 players that year were from off-leagues, including the 2 highest rated players in the promo

It's crazy how many low-rated players there are there too. The worst thing that's changed about UT is them jamming as many promos in as possible and making everything a near perfect card by march. I've said it for years, everyone would benefit by bringing all starting values down more to start the game and to give more room for ratings rises throughout the year

I used prime Rio at the weekend and he was fantastic for me, best CB I've used this year by far. Can't comment on the others as I haven't used them.

Any tips for shifting an Icon? I'm trying to move on my baby Larsson to get his prime now I've cash saved, strugging to get him sold without dropping the price hugely.

Got fut birthday Williams from the 2 rare player pack from the daily sbc thing

Might lean towards the Messi sbc now, wasn’t sure between that and mbappe.
