Light and draft coming into attic space

    Hi folks,

My house is about 15 years old, living here about 4 years. I was in my attic space today and noticed two bits of light coming in at the edge, where the floor of the attic meets the roof. One at the front side and one at the rear side of the house. Semi d with pitched roof. Is this normal or something to be concerned about?

It also seemed very drafty up there with the black plastic of the roof flapping with gusts of wind!

Thanks in advance for any advice or thoughts!

its not good that there is flapping "plastic"... but it is definitely good that its drafty

you are supposed to have cross ventilation in an attic... and the light you see is coming from the vent grills in your eaves

Photos attached to show what I mean, a few more areas of sunlight coming through than I thought!

That puts my mind at ease, thank you. No sunlight, holes etc. above.
