Sky Q Touch remote

    Hi my Sky Q touch remote has finally packed up and of course the new remotes are press button only, I seem to be in the minority in liking the swipe functionality (probably the only thing I like about Sky Q) so question is does anyone know a good alternative generic remote that I could by

    Plenty of new and used touch remotes on ebay UK, just be careful with postage/charges.

    Would it be worth contacting Sky to see if they'd send you out a replacement?

    I was down this road before. It was a bit frustrating.
    Requested a touch remote but they kept sending out the non-touch remote that comes with the Mini boxes. Eventually they told me they don’t make the touch remote any more. Ended up getting a new main box for HDR which had yet another model of remote - it looks like the original touch mode but has buttons.

    TL;DR no harm in asking!
