I was looking into starting up my own gym, would anyone have any advice regarding starting it up such as insurance costs, where to buy equipment and any other things in which I should be researching before taking this project on. I am under the impression that a semi-private gym would be cheaper on insurance but then of course I would have less clients compared to an open gym. If anyone has any experience in starting one up I would greatly appreciate it.

I was planning on doing the same. I think that leasing equipment rather than buying would be a good idea
