Hard to predict what will be relaxed on the 5th. Theres been leaks, kite flying about various eased restrictions but I would expect outdoor sports, 5km limit out to 10km, (which is not enough) and a possible phased return to construction.

Anyone would think their trying to find more cases. Not long ago in January we couldn’t even test close contacts but that didn’t matter we had enough cases at the time.

The shambles from testing,tracing and vaccination continues unabated.

NPHET really have control of this country - They up the testing , find more cases, keep lockdown level 5 going indefiitly with exagerated Fear , so hopefully the over-fearful and frightened public will agree to longer lockdowns and not question the undynamic slow vaccination program -

But sure the government were so gracious and understanding by reopening the schools (some not all) back at the start of the month.

That was a real sign of leadership and making hard decisions in our living with covid (haha) strategy

Restaurants and pubs allowed to serve food and alcohol to customers sitting outdoors

People can meet in groups of up to 30 outdoors
Six people or two households can meet indoors

Remaining outdoor entertainment, such as outdoor theatres and cinemas can open
Indoor entertainment such as museums, theatres, cinemas and children's play areas can open
Performances and large events can restart, but with limits on audience numbers
Hotels, hostels and B&Bs can reopen
International leisure travel may resume
Adult indoor group sports and exercise classes can restart
Stage four (no earlier than 21 June):
All legal limits on social contact will be removed
No legal limits on the number of people who can attend weddings, funerals and other life events
Nightclubs will be allowed to reopen

I’ll concede that this is for England however what’s the chances of the DUP sitting back and wanting to align themselves to our non existent, meandering , stuttering and goal post moving shambles of a reopening “plan” down here. ?

There’d be pandemonium if their (and it looks VERY likely) numbers of covid infection/hospital/deaths reflect the mainland numbers and were left in anything like our limbo.

And here's what NI have planned for the 12th.

.From April 12th up to 10 people from no more than two households can meet outdoors in a private garden. Click and collect will be permitted at all non-essential retail outlets. Outdoor sports training will also resume for clubs affiliated with recognised governing bodies from that date, with no more than 15 participants permitted in one training group. Indoor club facilities, apart from toilets, will remain closed.

I can't see pubs up there opening before May day, and I don't forsee a massive gap between them and us.

Is the mood changing and people are seeing into things ?

NPHET coming out with there stalling, will the public take that again near the end of April ?
