I am moving into a new build house in an new phase of an existing development. The estate has fibre broadband but there is not connection at my address. THe developer informs us it is cable for both SIRO and Fibre (sorry, bit clueless as to what these are) but he said I may need to chase the opertators to get the fibre activated. EIR, SKY and Vodafone say there is not capacity?

Any ideas as I have two teenagers and the move is soon. You can only imagine the amount of whinging lol.

    Any advice gratefully received.

If Eir Sky and Vodaphone are saying there is no capacity they probably mean there are no ports available on their end to connect you to. If you PM me the Eircode I would be happy to check it for you but your best bet may be to ring SIRO or inform Vodaphone you want a SIRO installation not a FTTC or OpenEir based FTTH connection.

Did you try going with a Siro reseller like Airwire, worth contacting them is the cover your area.
