would it be possible to pull an empty Ivor Williams Trailor with a car, I am going to look at one and if I buy, just wondering if this was an option

    I have a 1.7 diesel astra estate

Youd need the E licence tho, I think my 12x5 ifor is in around the ton empty open to correction on that tho, she might catch attention behind a car more than a jeep

Well did ya buy??I've every faith in her she'd pull it. (Oh,better insert if you've the right licence with the way things are round here now)like you wouldn't know yourself.

It would pull it, but if you don't have a trailer licence you'd be in bother. Even though it's empty and physically under the weight, it's the plated weight that is taken into consideration, and the weight of the car plus plated weight of the trailer puts you over the b licence limit of 3500kg
