Hi just wondering about student accommodation in cork for cit/ucc starting September 21, usually at this time of year parents would be booking places. I’ve heard so many stories of thousands paid and only used accommodation for a week. Any recommendations of good accommodation. Thanks

I’m also looking, have applied at Castlewhite, I believe it’s close to UCC. Don’t know anything about it. Eden hall is close to CIT, I’ve heard it’s ok, my daughter has applied to Brookfield, it’s beside the nursing building in UCC. I’d also be interested on hearing other opinions. Good luck

Privately owned accommodations won’t give you your money back say if college is cancelled mid year like last March. But I believe UCC owned accommodations have to.

I personally wouldn’t be booking any accommodation for September as I don’t think students will be back in college.
