Fortnite update problem

    Fortnite did an update yesterday on my Xbox 1s. Now im getting kicked out of the game after a random amount of time. Might last 5 min, 10 min sometimes longer but happing a lot now.

    Any ideas whats going on?

    Is there a way to validate game files on xbox ?

    Delete and reinstall it. The update might have a conflict with the older build. Reinstalling it will put the newest version on.

    Thanks, do you mean delete and reinstall the update or the entire game?

    Do the full game. It will download the updated version of the game with the update built in.

    When you do an update it downloads the new files and then tries to merge in the update with the existing but there can be times where it gets a bit out of sync.
