Thornbury made two turnovers in as many minutes.

Thornbury is on fire at the moment

Thornbury playing a blinder again but for all the territory and possession we haven't looked like scoring again. Conditions look like we definitely need another couple of scores before half time

We've been extremely pedestrian with ball in hand, a 7 point lead with the wind and a dominant set piece is not a great return.

    Ref is really good imo.

All that possession yet after two attacks they're level.. and to be fair, they made a mess of the first one with a bad knock on.

Edit: he missed so we'll say "one score each"

Been cut apart twice now when our 'A' defender has rushed out of the line without any support on his inside.

Needed that before HT. Will be tough in the second. Rain is fairly coming down

Seemed a mad decision to decline the 3 (weather?) but that worked out. Big difference between 14-5 and 10-5.

It's not making any difference to his binding issues :-)

I think with the gale behind us we needed to come away with more than 3 there. Even at 14-5 it's a big ask into the conditions.

On that there was a long discussion between butler and the ref before kick off seemed to be suggesting the teams were lined up in the wrong direction

    Second half already hard work.

Surely Edinburgh is completely offside on that maul

Carty is infuriating. Kicking the ball away in the 22 for no reason. Hold onto the ball!

Based on the last few matches that’s a red card

Yes, no mitigation at all. Awful tackle.

Based on the laws of the game that's a red card.

You can't really argue with that.

Unfortunately so. Once there is consistency there no complaints. Hopefully he won't be banned for the challenge cup

Great test of character now. If they hold out it'll be a great result.

What kind of ban are we looking at here? 3 reduced to 2weeks?

I would think a ban would be minimal. Red card under the rules but no intent

2 matches minimum I'd say, which would mean he'd miss the Leicester game!

Previous poster talked about consistency but there isn't unfortunately

There was a match in the 6n where the ref was penalising players ahead of the kicker not standing still. This ref calls the same player a few times to stop, not too long before their penalty. The consistency at which laws are applied is awful

Edinburgh are terrible. So many errors.
