Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

So my favourite beer is Galway Brewery's Diving Bell. It was seasonal but I don;t think they make it anymore. Is there another beer people have tried that they think is similar?

The original salted caramel Diving Bell or the later incarnation without the caramel? The salted caramel one is one of my favourite beers ever, I was disappointed that they changed it afterwards.

If it's Scotch Ales in general you're after, then Founders are your go-to. Dirty Bastard is their standard Scotch Ale, and Backwoods Bastard is the annual barrel aged version and is amazingly good. You might also occasionally happen across Oskar Blues Old Chubb, which is also a very tasty beer.

I wasn't even aware they changed it. I must have had the original when it first came out I remember getting it on draft when I got the bottles I didn't notice the difference but there was a fair bit of time in between. Thanks for the recommendations I'll check them out

God, that was one of my all-time favourites.

I remember finding three bottles of it behind the bar in a pub my mate owned and a fight practically broke out over who would buy them off him
