Unlocking KBC debit card?

Anyone know how to do this, as I'm getting different info from kbc staff.

I know the card locked at a POS in a supermarket. So I rang the number on the card and they asked if I knew the pin which I did so they unlocked it and I had to go to a bank atm to activate.

I went there and withdrew 20 euro and thought I'm back in business but when tried to use it in the supermarket it was declined and still blocked.

So I rang kbc a second time and this time I was told that they can remove the block on the card but I will have only 24hrs to activate it and I must go to pin services on the atm terminal and look for 'unblock' card and hit that and then it should be good to go.

I haven't tried that yet but hope too this weekend.
