The house of the year programme kind of depresses me. It's a long way I am from ever owning a shack in the woods to call my own, let alone actually a nice place. Oh how the rte set live....

23min past and he's still waffling.

Normally the song would be over by now.

Are they struggling to fill the programme these days?

In the middle of the biggest homeless crisis in the history of the state RTÉ show and commission new property porn tv programmes. You couldn’t make it up.

The LLS is struggling so badly now for filler material, they just keep putting on the same guests and the same subjects week after week after week.

If it was a horse, they'd put it down (no offence intended)

She’d be more of the well and softly spoken Nordie accent type. It’s barely audible.

I do however that no matter where I go in the country the girls of families don’t have particularly strong accents, while the boys almost always verge on exaggerating the strength of it. It’s rather peculiar and intriguing.

This section of strange noises, songs and musical instruments reminds me of the Mrs Millar spot on RTE radio many years ago.

I can't remember if it was Gay Byrne hour, Liam Nolans Serendipity show or even Mike Murphy on radio. It was always good for a laugh. The poor woman hadn't a note in her head.

Margarita Pracatan on Clive James show every week was also gold.

Hopefully Toyman/Bookman has a few Mongolian throat singers lined up, always a joy to hear them.

Barking dog singing and cat playing pianists also most welcone to mine ears.

I thought it was strange yesterday that while talking about surveillance capitalism no mention was made of smart meters or IOT.

Now I understand why. Can't be upsetting the sponsors.

I think 2fm had a section on throat singers on the breakfast show recently.

And again tubs panders to a fairly talentless 'celeb', despite the fact he would normally look down on such folk, him being so intelligent, well read and discerning when it comes to who he looks up to.

But when you need filler material to pass 15 or 20min on your show, anyone will do.
