Nails - bad condition after Shellac

Hi all

I got a Shellac just before Christmas. As the salons were closed, I had to take it off myself. The salon suggested acetone, cotton wool and tin foil and the shellac should come straight off. This didn’t totally work and I had to do it a few times. A few bits were softened but I’d to scrape them off. My problem is my nail are in crap condition now and keep breaking. Has anyone any ideas to strengthen them and get them in better condition?

Loads of cuticle oil and just cut them for now until they strengthen up

Some kind person on a previous nail thread recommended this stuff. I only started using it a week ago and can feel the difference already.

CND solar oil is good & if you have any Bio-Oil at home it works a treat on nails & cuticles.
