Shower Mixer -Replace or repair

Any advice on the attached, I don't see any brand markings on the unit but from what I can tell it's a pretty good shower,approx 3 years old but the thermostat control has seized. Not sure how to remove the cap to try find the thermostat,or if it's not a great model am I as well to replace the bar?
