Well, the mysterious backstory eventually leads to her becoming Quake, but it's a slow burn, it's not the main focus of the show. Agents of SHIELD gets really good in the final third of season 1, after the events of Captain America: Winter Soldier - it really becomes a different show after that point.

I was disappointed by the sequel, I think they were trying a little too hard after the first film surprised everyone unfamiliar with the character.

I heard great things about Into The Spiderverse, and did not expect it to live up to expectations when I saw it

Yeah I think I stuck around a while, and it did get better, but I just can't remember anymore

I really should give it another go as I'm up to date on all the movies.

Edit: that was badly worded. But if it wasn't fir what he was trying to do fir himself, another character would not have been made. So him being a cnut, accidentally made him the start of the creation of another certain somebody..
