sedum/green roofs

it's up against the south facing wall of the house so would get full sun in the summer.
weather wise, would wind be an issue? for example if we had the likes of ophelia again.

Neighbor has one its not been there that long just over a year but looking well. They used a system like this https://www.bauder.co.uk/green-roofs/extensive-green-roofs/lightweight-sedum-low-maintenance-solution/sedum-blanket-system the sedums came in a roll like a roll of turf (grass). The surround with drainage seems as important as anything else.

Sedum roofs seem like a great idea. Common on bus stop roofs abroad but seem very expensive here
