    Hi,

Has anyone tried using a Vodafone bill pay sim in a router longterm. I was considering the sim only red unlimited max for €35 a month for 6 months. It gives unlimited data at the fastest speed available. I was wondering do Vodafone hinder the sim being used in a router? If it worked it would be better than their mobile broadband offering of 300GB for €40 per month.

    Thanks.

ive have used/using a PAYG Voda sim in a 4g router and it works fine, though it is limited to 10mbs due to the plan (€20 / month )

u need to activate the sim first in a phone by making a call, then just get the APN settings right in the router.

VF charge for tethering on PAYG plans on certain devices by rerouting data to a chargeable APN. It may be different on bill pay SIMs but it might be against the terms so check them first.

    Hi all,

Sorry that this is not relevant, but I’m looking for anyone that has an old Vodafone 4G router that they are not using?

My house went on fire Thursday and I have no Wifi, so looking to get hold of one asap. I am willing to pay for it and postage.

Please message me if you know of anyone that has one they’re no longer using.
