Hey guys. Just a quick question about CoD Cold War. Thinking of buying the Battle Pass. Is it a one time purchase,or do i have to keep buying a new pass once the season is over. Not very familiar with this as b4 getting the PS5 we only had the PS3. Thanks in advance.

Dunno if I'm too late but there's only about 2 weeks left to complete the battle pass, and I doubt you'll do it in that time. Might be worth holding out for the next one.

I think someone else posted about this early last week. I think it's to do with your PS5 not being able to connect to your WiFi.

Try a ethernet cable if you have one.

It’s showing as connected to the WiFi, I tried YouTube on the media section and it streamed perfect. Can’t find much about the error code, a lot of people on Twitter posed the question to playstation and it was all DM for further information. I’ll try find that post you were speaking about

What happens when you test connection? Does everything connect alright?.

Yes, nothing! Was on the phone to them and I’m awaiting an email about step by step instructions to fix it which I was assured would be sent in 10 mins over an hour ago.

My PS5 is not allowing me to use HDR with my Samsung Q90T.. I have the HDMI 2.1 Cable in the Game HDMI slot this was working before but seems to not be working now anyone had this issue?

Is it just not working or which device is it that's saying it's not working.

Try setting colour to automatic or 4:4:4 .

In your TV settings, make sure the Game HDMI port is enabled for HDR. They’re often disabled for HDR by default to save power.

It figured itself over time it's been working with HDR all the time just today I was getting the error...

Having serious bad time with the ps5 auto downloading stuff even when I pause them they seem to resume... I've only 750GB a month which would be fine if my ps didn't randomly download stuff that I have paused... (I use a different connection for actual downloads)

Anyone else’s X button on the controller sticking on occasion?

Anyone else had an issue with the controller battery draining overnight? Second time within a few days that I've turned the console on and immediately got a no charge message. First time I thought it was genuine as when I turned the console off the night before the battery did need to be charged but it would have had plenty of charge left when I switched off last night.

Both occasions the console was turned off fully, not put in rest mode (not that that should make a difference really)

Only real bad issue I constantly have is the sound going when you watch a movie on disc. Sound is perfect in menu and games then when you launch the movie the sound goes completely, if I simply unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in its fine again. I have tried multiple cables and no joy its so frustrating...I have tried dvd/Blu-ray and 4K discs.

Yes. On my second controller because the first one had a dodgy R2.

X is sticking really bad on this one. Going to try a little contact cleaner later today.

No SSD drives have been approved by Sony so hold off on those. Any USB 3.0 drive will do fine if its PS4/Media stuff you're storing.

Good idea about the contact cleaner. I don’t have one but ordered WD40 specialist contact cleaner to see if it helps.

I like that site. I'd nearly be tempted by them just because of all the blurbs they have, and the fact that they come across as an evil organization. Black looks amazing in fairness.

The dbrand plates do look good but the $49 price tag is extortion for what it is. I also don’t like the way the PS logo has to be filled in on 3rd party plates. I’m sure official plates are only a matter of time.

Waste of time for me anyway. My PS hides behind my tv

I’ve had this issue a couple of times - a fully charged battery being empty when I turn on the console. It hasn’t happened much - two or three times since November, and two of those times just after launch - but annoying nonetheless. There’s no question the controller is generally holding a charge otherwise, so was wondering if it was perhaps a firmware issue somewhere along the line.

    Is Rift Apart PS5 exclusive?
Wonder how they decide which to be cross gen. Like after Miles Morales, the new Horizon and God of War are both cross gen.

Pretty sure it is PS5 exclusive, the only way the game is really possible is because of quicker loading times with the SSD

As far as I'm aware yes it supposedly relies heavily on the SSD load times but that could be all marketing hype

Weren't there parts in Miles Morales that were "only possible with the SSD"? Like that clip they kept showing of Miles catapulting himself out the window of a warehouse into the city
And they've said Horizon and GoW have been designed for the PS5 first.

Well in terms of Rift Apart, it'd be possible to have the same game absolutely id say, but it would have to involve loading times on PS4 with the jumping through dimensions whereas SSD allows it to be instant
