    Hi All .
Looking at bringing in a 17 discovery sport from the u.k . Price with change of currency and vrt in region of e32k . Just wondering has anybody brought in anything at similar money . What's the setup with customs and vat charges since the beginning of January . Looking at prices here not much in the difference , only better speced in uk . Thanks in advance for any info on this .

Is it possible to crewcab those and get 13.3% vrt? Or would that even be an option for you.

And your obviously aware of brexit and the extra charges that come with it?

Assuming the discovery is a diesel. Did you check the Nox charge? It can be hefty on older models.

They said 17, so nox is minimal

nope, even the full sized discovery can't be , the small crossover 'sport' definitely doesn't meet the requirements.

I would have thought the full sized Disco could be converted, considering you can buy it as a commercial from factory? Wasn’t sure about the Sport

2 seat commercial only, not crew cab.

You can't import crewcab jeeps anymore, only crew cab pickup trucks, you have to bring them in on full vrt and then you can convert them to commercial

    Hi All .
Thanks for all the replies . Looking like an Irish one is going to be as good a value if not better all things considered . Stay safe out there .

At the moment it's probably the safest option. A private reg one might be cheaper as well, tax is 570, insurance will most likely be cheaper, nct cheaper and valid for 2 years, and tolls are cheaper
