The ball was stripped excellently, Ireland didn't mess it up.

Just like bundee in the WC I think POMs is incredibly harsh.

It’s what the rules say, that’s a red card according to the rules but I think there is mitigation in both incidents.

No. But would you give me odds that both posters are Leinster Supporters?

If you do I'll donate any losses to a charity of your choosing

So what if I’m a Leinster supporter? I made no reference to the clubs, I just said his passing was slow today. That’s a fair comment. Trying to delegitimise it by bringing in the provincial stuff is just silly.

I think Murray's playing well enough myself, his passing is nowhere near as slow as some are making out and at least three half breaks over the gainline

VdF is having a woeful game today, I was looking forward to seeing him back but it's not happening for him today

This Welsh team are so bogstandard if we stay in the game we could win it

I think his passing is exasperated but sexton offloading to someone further back again so the defence is even further forward again.

Bad forward pass from Johnny there, we'd a free play inside their 22

Every Welsh tackler has no clear release before going in for it. Barnes just watching them.

Henshaw dropped that ball sideways about 12 feet behind sexton who passed it to him. Where was he going to go the drift defence were sat waiting.

Yup - Barnes seems to have a real blind spot for it.

He hit him in the head with his shoulder and ran up at it from 5m away. There is zero mitigation.

Red cards don’t ruin rugby, offences that cause red cards to be shown ruin games of rugby

Going through phases but its very predictable.

What do you expect? They’re a man down away from home. Do you want them to throw it around 7s style?

    Incredibly harsh my absolute hole.

Stone wall red for an incredibly thick piece of action.

He absolutely positioned himself to hit the Welsh player like that, you can see it by the way his arm was set. Knackery thing to do and he deserves a ban for it.

POM's red card was justified, only himself to blame. Ireland have been very impressive since he left the field.

It was 100% a red, the guy was sitting on the ground when he made contact. He came from distance, Connected with the head , with force

It's not harsh but it is unlucky. He was committed to the hit and the Welsh player came down facing towards him instead of away from him. If POM hits his back then we don't hear any more about it. Definite red as it played out though.

We're not doing too badly considering we're down to 14. Unfortunately we have to be ultra precise for the next 45 minutes.

What mitigation? Flies in, cocks an arm, Clocks a guy?

Straightforward Red. You hate to see it but it's all on POM that one.

I thought he clearly lined him up.

You're going to be very lonely with that opinion.

It was fully deserved and it's bizarre you think they should mitigate to keep entertainment levels up.

Lowe just booted that from well inside his 22 to just outside the Wales 22.
