Scotland are winning in spite of Russell.

Commentary about Russell: "he hasn't made too many mistakes today"

Ya what? He's been mostly rubbish.

Farrell has been really poor too. Shocking kick there

Hogg is doing his best to make up for Russell

Pity for Scotland that it's this version of Russell today

Yeah, and lucky for them that it's the good version of Hogg today. :pac:

Imagine being a Scotland supporter and having to watch Russell.

Is Nae neck on the bench? Scotland need a bit of stability to try close this out.

Strangely enough Russell's best impact today has been in defense where he has actually been immense

England have little to their attacking game aside from the kick chase. They got away with it in autumn and may even get away with it today but can you imagine if an Irish team put in a performance like this?

Yeah, that was a great hit on May.

Linesman needs to help the ref there - Daly was absolutely no where near the ball.

Did anyone hear what the ref awarded the penalty for there? England player with hands on the ball was flat on his belly

It's amazing how bad England are. What the hell happened to them?

    They’ll probably still beat us

Robson won’t play for England again I reckon after this cameo.

England are really being overpowered by the Scots. The immense gameplay that Scotland are taking on against England right now has left me fascinated to see the outcome. The effects of England losing to Scotland on the remainder of their championship will instantly give France the upper hand in winning the grand slam for this year if it all goes well for them.

In the interests of fairness there looked like a no arms chop tackle by a Scottish player in that defensive set

It’s because their ill-discipline is being caught out.

Delighted to see Cherry get capped for Scotland, signed by Edinburgh 3 seasons ago, was playing lower level rugby before that (London Scottish, D2 etc) but he’s consistently got better.

Should Hogg have a go at goal?

  • Subscribers Posts: 43,159 ✭✭✭✭sydthebeat

Redpath made the right choice :D

England will still win this with one significant play

Hard pressed to say Scotland won't have had their chances

Scotland lucky there, someone flew into that breakdown back first hoping to collapse the jackler before he got hands on the ball

The rain poured down on him when he made that kick.

You can see it all around him in his eyes & it still cost him the 3 points.

Itoje let away with murder at the breakdown again there. Ref told him 3 times he was illegal and even though he kept fighting for the ball no penalty
