I’d love to know where they got the two of them, her and the fella with the Dub accent

    I think he's good actually.

His segment about the vaccines was initially fine...until someone decided to add in 'flashing' edits. The whole thing turned into this.

Other times, he's got this really annoying 'skanger' accent.

Brutal interviewer. How the f did she get that job. Brutal.

I am by no means a Maaariam fan but at least she is a good interviewer.

Exactly this-the 'diversity' box, aka white and lesbian.

    https://headtopics.com/ie/rte-s-louise-byrne-i-am-happy-to-talk-about-who-i-am-because-diversity-matters-on-television-17944070

She even touts the 'diversity' angle during interviews. 'Diversity' has become this misnomer, truly, in that it's people who can't do the job being hired for a job they're obviously not qualified for. But they qualify because they are either lgbtq+, another race other than white (Tho RTE have dropped the ball on this, honestly), another religion (or none) than the usual, or an advocate for some cause (Mental health is the go-to ticket. Speaking of someone with admitted mental health issues)or a plethora of other things.

Quite often Dave Grohl - pontificates as the nice guy Godfather of Rock, yet he makes safe rock music for people who don't like rock music. I'll give him this - his safe rock manages to be irritatingly obnoxious.

    I think I explained why I can't stand him - but anyway.

    'Comedian' Jarleth Regan

True to the title of this thread, I can't explain why. He seems to be the type of guy that the term 'drip' was invented to describe.

Nothing inexplicable there , wonder what he’s hiding? No man with such extreme feminist views can be innocent

Totally disagree. Byrne doesn't allow guests to rattle of the prepared spiel.

what boxes does Louise Byrne tick? would the same comment be passed about a heterosexual cisgender white Irishman?

She's female and she's gay......................Thought that was obvious, or are you blind with the general commentary on here/elsewhere about how RTE has become all things SJW Central

But go ahead and miscontrue what the chap was posting and be offended and i'll add their post was most likely in jest

I've found some have been traumatised in the past.

Other times... yeah, its a cover-up.

Ah here, she left Norma Foley run rings around her.

She must’ve said “if I could just finish my point” about 6 or 7 times.

Don't you know it. Something something sjw offended spiel to follow whilst they lose their head about it. If they just had the balls to come out and say it instead of saying it in code like a little itch there wouldn't be any confusion at least.

In their minds its impossible anyone like her can get the job through merit, it most definitely is just a box ticking exercise etc. If you're a thick grunt, you're a thick grunt. I wouldn't worry about them.

I'd say with Dave, he's sort of seen the industry chew up, and spit out, too many good people (not least of which, his friend Kurt Kobain).

So maybe some of that weighs on him. Might be a little sour to the industry nowadays.
