I have a really close friend who lives elsewhere in Europe. I was suppose to visit last year but was worried about catching the virus and I didn’t want to potentially kill his parents.
I am planning it for this year but I don’t know.
When we were told no foreign holidays this summer, I felt so down about it, but I am hopeful from September on.
It’s not easy these times so there needs to be a little more understanding even if we vehemently disagree.
It is a mentally tough time.

This sad story is everything wrong with Liveline.

It's sad your daughter is autistic, it's sad she's in residential care.

But your challenges shouldn't mean that others cannot live their lives as they see fit. Frank and Una have lived their lives, paid their taxes and should be able to sit in the sun and enjoy themselves. They are Covid free, been tested and no danger to anyone.

This victim culture is so ****ing played out at this stage especially on Liveline where most callers will call in about a certain subject and within five seconds mention they are diabetic or have a sick relative.
