My DPD order from HN is apparently arriving between 3-4pm today just got text. Hopefully that means even you guys with delays (as mine was; 6 days) might be getting yours before the weekend!

Was on to Little Island, apparently have them in and told me to wait for an email. At least he didn't say it could be tomorrow? Might be worth ringing yourself and seeing what they say.

Sounds like we might get them delivered tomorrow so if they process them quick enough today! I'll give them a buzz during my lunch break if we've heard nothing by then

Apparently they do according to their site, fairly certain I saw them around the last couple of Saturdays too!

Just off the phone with Littlewoods, told them the extra bits did not arrive and asked for a €90 refund which they did.
not sure why it was 90 extra as a controller is only 80 on the site but glad to get back the full amount as i did not need a 2 controller

I would recommend getting a 2nd controller for sure. My R2 button the spring has broken in it and a few other people in the other ps5 thread their R2 button has acted up and not working great, seems to be a bit of an issue in regards to the R2 button for some people after a while and the console is only out since November.

HN Blanchardstown have said that orders placed for delivery aren’t coming from their store, only orders placed for click and collect are.

Order just landed. Question for anyone with the extra controller. Did the controller have any wrapping on it in the box? Mine didn't and I'm half suspicious of it.

I did not have an account and got a 6 day delay, but I phone kinsale road in Cork today and the guy was sound and said call in and he'd sort me out.

So I'm all set up and my son is already taking over *MY* birthday present and loves Astro.

Genie this thing is huge.. I've seen comparison shots but nothing prepared me for it sitting under the telly. The xbox one x looks like a firetv beside it.

My controller was in a sealed box, but no wrapping on the controller itself

Ya i meant like the covering for the controller itself. I'm surprised at that, very poorly packaged.

Just got the shipment notification from Gamestop so it should be with me tomorrow or Saturday that's if UPS do deliveries on a Saturday.

Went down and collected mine around 11 there, they didn't have them in the warehouse with the other click and collect stuff, all locked up in the managers office. The walk to the car with the really obvious box poking out of the flimsy bag was a bit stressful! Didn't ask for the delivery fee I paid back, I'm greatful they had the cop on to call me for collection rather than waiting for it to arrive tomorrow.

Have everything set up and updated/downloaded, painless enough process! Need to dig out the box for my PS4 Pro now as that will be off to CEX asap while it's still worth something.

Hope y'all get sorted soon, it seems like stock will be in everywhere tomorrow at the latest, DPD deliver on Saturdays so there could be a good weekend ahead for all of us.

Glad you got sorted, can i ask, as im in similar position, what do i need when trading in the PS4? I have consolé and box, i assume i need all the original cables, controllers, and booklets?

Or do they just need the PS4 and the box? Not much information on their site....

I always include as much as I can as that's what I'd like to get if I was buying a used console. I think the minimum is the console, one controller, the power cable, the hdmi lead and a micro USB cable. Everything someone would need to power the console/controller and hook up to a TV. They aren't picky about what cables you give them in my experience, once they're generic black and working. They won't mind about the booklets either, but usually I have all that as it was never unboxed in the first place.

There's a USB Type-C to Type A charging cable for the DualSense wireless controller, included.

Got text and email confirming shipping from HN. DPD link says it was at head office at 6pm yesterday.
